NAFP are pleased to offer this interactive online seminar about the reporting requirements set out in Regulation 35 of the Fostering Regulations England 2011…
Are you responsible for reporting on the activity within your fostering organisation?
Would you like some guidance on what should be included? And who should access this information?
Would you like the opportunity to break down the requirements of Regulation 35 and discuss creative and evidence-based information?
Regulation 35 reporting is a requirement for Ofsted and should be submitted annually, however, reporting and recording of this crucial information will not only provide Ofsted with the information they need, but collecting and analysing this information quarterly will provide evidence that you are a learning organisation that ensures any findings is considered within your Leadership and Management, contributes to service development, and keeps you safe, compliant and robust.
The Fostering Regulations England 2011 clearly states under “regulation 35” that:
(1) The registered person must maintain a system for—
a. monitoring the matters set out in Schedule 6 at appropriate intervals, and
b. improving the quality of foster care provided by the fostering agency.
(2) The registered person must provide the Chief Inspector with a written report in respect of any review conducted for the purposes of paragraph (1) and, on request, to any local authority.
(3) The system referred to in paragraph (1) must provide for consultation with foster parents, children placed with foster parents, and their placing authority (unless, in the case of a fostering agency which is a voluntary organisation, it is also the placing authority).
(this event will be hosted on Zoom - accessibility; delegates will be emailed details of how to join a few days beforehand)
